Each member plays a vital role in guiding our mission, shaping our programs, and helping us create opportunities for lifelong learning and brighter futures.
Meet The Team
Michelle launched her career by founding Lightwell Inc. (formerly Oxford Consulting Group) in 1998, growing it into a global tech consulting firm before its successful acquisition in 2021. Today, she serves as an advisor, investor, and board member.

Motivated by her own immigrant experience, Michelle is passionate about ensuring all children and families have access to the support and educational opportunities they need to thrive. With over 25 years of leadership and board experience, she brings strategic insight and a deep understanding of building sustainable organizations.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and keeping up with her energetic four-year-old son.
Cynthia is a life coach, online business owner, and entrepreneur with a passion for helping others grow personally and professionally. Supporting Giselle’s mission to improve the quality of children’s education is deeply meaningful to me. As a parent of a child on the spectrum, I bring personal insight, fresh ideas, and strong connections to advocate for inclusive, student-centered learning. Outside of my work, I find peace in painting and joy in interviewing others—people’s stories and experiences truly inspire me.
Dr. Lewis earned her MD from Mercer University School of Medicine, completing her Internal Medicine residency there and a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. She currently serves as an attending physician on the inpatient palliative care team at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, Georgia, enjoying a part-time role that allows for balance in life.

Passionate about educational equity, Dr. Lewis brings strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills to the board, along with experience leading successful nonprofit fundraising initiatives. She is dedicated to supporting mission-driven work that empowers students and communities.

Outside of work, Dr. Lewis is devoted to her faith, family, and hospitality—often welcoming friends and teens into her home. She also enjoys baking, traveling, and cheering on her children in their pursuits.
